GPS Tracking Very Inaccurate - Disappointed
The GPS tracking is very inaccurate and loses connection with the satellite often, or takes forever to find the satellite. This wouldn't be a big deal, but instead of assuming I'll continue with roughly my average pace, it assumes that I've stopped running/riding completely and then I magically reappeared further down the track. For my daily run, I run the same half mile circuit for 3 miles everyday and the spot where I finish my run varies extremely based on whether it had a good satellite connection or not because apparently, the way it makes up for its errors with my pace, is just to add more distance. Obviously, this reeks havoc on my pace as it swings 1-2 whole minutes/mile or more in mere seconds and makes me yo-yo terribly unless I work hard to ignore it (in which I'd ask, what is the point of this thing?).

Great watch!
Functionality and user interface are just what I hoped for. Also like the bike computer connectivity. Thanks Wahoo!

Overall really like the focused
Overall really like the focused metrics based approach to the design and I’m happy with the purchase. The Spotify integration was surprisingly good. Had very unreliable experience with my Fitbit watch. Some nitpicks: - it takes a lot of clicks to set a timer, and in my usage I think “no” should be the default choice for the repeated timer question - support for multiple alarms would be nice but not that important - confirming that I want to start a workout before gps lock is annoying since the lock takes a while. I don’t mind starting a workout without gps

Great as a sports watch… just “meh” as a smart watch…
Overall a descent sports gps watch. Great for the basic output and data capture. The lacking features are the inability to customize, the dim brightness, and the inconsistent notifications alerts and display….

Cycling Mode Is Great!
I had a wahoo element watch which I liked...but the New Rival is a pleasure and easy to use! Great looking! Makes my Training sessions more Fun and informative! My only concern is heart rate sometimes 210 max then 170max for a 70yr old racer it might indicate I'm in the Danger Zone 🤔 Grazie e Ciao!

Review
I bought it two months ago, and it has several problems: when running it does not show the heart rate and pace correctly. None of its features works in the swimming pool, and it has some problems when exporting the training session to Training Peaks. Overall, not a good Investment.

Very solid product!
I’ve had this watch for a couple weeks now, and I’m enjoying the change from my former Apple Watch. I appreciate that it doesn’t bother me with daily or hourly reminders to be active, and the exercise modes for running and biking have worked flawlessly. I like the look of it on my arm and i like the super-adjustable band. I alap appreciate being able to easily see my texts without pulling my phone out, like with most smartwatches. I’d like to see some extra metrics shown after a workout, such as VO2Max, but I’m happy to see the ones that are there, such as running cadence. All in all this is a solid product and I’m looking forward to using it for years to come.
