Revel IV Mid Polar Boot
Thriving in conditions where snow can be thrown from a boiling pot of water requires a certain degree of preparedness and fortitude. And the Keen Revel IV Mid Boot readily steps in from the frozen tundra to embrace your feet like a favorite, hearth-warmed blanket with thermal resistance down to negative twenty-five degrees F. As you sip the morning brew on the cabin patio, the recycled PET insulation closes in around your ankle to trap in long-lasting warmth for sensitive toes. And as the day’s adventure gets underway on the snow-covered trails, the molded rubber outsole provides confident traction and resists the penetrating cold underfoot.
Keen achieve this astonishing level of protection from the inside out, starting with a Heat Trapolator footbed, blending insulating foam and felt with a shied that reflects heat upward to your feet, and adds a form of bumper guard on the heel and sides that resists cold transfer from the ground. On the exterior, a waterproof breathable membrane of leather and mesh protects the upper shoe from any water ingress as you break trails in deeper snow.

Nice Boots
Great boots - comfortable and true to size with wide toe box, which is what I need.

Perfect for hunting in the snow
This is the second pair of these boots I have purchased. The first pair is only 2 years old and is still in great shape. I just wanted to get a second pair in case Keen stopped making the perfect winter boot. I recommend these to one of my hunting buddies who had cold feet on our last trip.

Great boots
I have a pair of these that are 2 years old. They’re great. I bought a new pair for next year. I wear them a lot and they aren’t worn out yet but I couldn’t resist the security of having a pair ahead. Comfortable and warm. While I usually wear microspikes or Stabilicers if it’s icy these do seem to have good traction on snow and ice. I have very wide feet in the forefoot and narrower heels and have gone to the men’s boots to get the width I need. These fit well

Comfortable out of the box.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used them right away for work. Comfortable, warm, protected my feet on the job as a trucker in the northern USA.

2 years, can't find a single fault in them.
I have had these for a couple of years now. They are without a doubt the best hiking boots I've ever had. - They've stopped me from rolling an ankle multiple times. Great ankle support. - The tread grips well in snow, on rock, and mud. - Once broken in they don't rub even when I wear ankle socks with them. - They're warm in the winter and cool in the summer. - I've had them for 2 years and they're more comfortable now than ever. No signs of wear yet. - True to size. I wear a 13 and a 13 was what I got. - Water-phobic. Obviously if water goes over the top they'll get water in them but they've repelled every other water I've ever stepped in. - I like the way they look, personally. If I could find something to complain about, I would. Just a good boot, and I feel good about wearing them because of their anti-waste philosophy. When these eventually do wear out, I'll be getting another.

Solid winter boot but cold toes
Bought this for a winter trip a month ago. I like the wider toe box as it give plenty of room for my toes to wiggle even with thick wool socks (unlike Salomon shoes). There's a decent amount of insulation but only around the ankles so my toes were cold unless I was actively moving. I didn't get to put the shoes through its paces but I'm satisfied with the snowshoeing and limited trekking I did.

Great boots, good value
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried many different insulated hiking boots before settling on the Keen's. They are a good mix of solid construction, flexibility, insulation. So far, so good. I wear a 10 but ordered an 11 and the size was great - allowed for heavy socks and enough room for my feet to not feel crushed.

polar IV
Boots arrived quickly and look nice, Unfortunately the toe box was too narrow even though I ordered a wide, I have noticed what seems to be a design change in keen boots recently and the nice wide toe boxes have shrunk,
