Fitz Roy GTX RR Moutaineering Boot

Zamberlan designed its Men's Fitz Roy GTX RR Mountaineering Boot to provide all the comfortable support you need to mountaineer or backpack with a heavy load. This relatively lightweight boot utilizes a Gore-Tex Duratherm membrane for guaranteed waterproof protection to keep your foot dry and comfortable, without hindering the boot's performance. Zamberlan mixed Hydrobloc Perwanger leather, microfiber, and Superfabric (a stretch nylon) to keep the upper light and incredibly durable. Its 360-degree rubber rand encompasses your foot for extra protection and keeps this boot in excellent condition during long-haul expeditions and demanding ascents on rock and glacial ice.

Underfoot, the Fitz Roy incorporates a Semi Pro Crampon System that accepts hybrid crampons thanks to the thermoplastic heel welt. A PU midsole offers adequate cushioning for long-haul treks and marathon pushes in the alpine, but it is still plenty stiff to ensure a secure feel while climbing with crampons. The Vibram New Mulaz sole has a large contact area at the toe for better climbing, grip, and durability. The sole's big grooves reduce debris build-up, and the large, multi-directional lugs offer fantastic traction for many years. Zamberlan undercut the heel for secure braking so you're ready for anything the mountain throws your way.
