Not what I expected
I expected more out of this. Even though it did keep my drink cold, it made a mess! My first time using it and the spigot kept leaking. I had to put a towel underneath it. All of my other yeti products have never let me down and I expected the same from this one.

Cold beverages stay COLD. Hot beverages stay HOT
Got for my kids’ food truck when we need to use a table outside truck at private events. Perfect size and effective at keeping hot beverages (like cider, which is a big Fall deal in Midwest) HOT and cold beverage COLD. Spigot is world class. Clean up a breeze. Sturdy. Classy looking (we explored a cheaper, square so-called “competitor”) for non-personal use

Pour out a cold one
I went to Texas on a bachelorette, and not only was the YETI store right there, but every restaurant and hotel had these YETI Silo Water Coolers. I couldn't stop thinking about how my parents lake house needs this - aside from cutting down on plastic, it keeps your water iced and is easy enough for adults and kids to use! We love it!

As good as my other Yetis!
Immediately put it to use. Made iced tea for a large party, remained cold all day, despite being hot outside. Large quantity allowed me to not have to worry about refilling before the party was over. Spout comes apart easily for cleaning. No issues with leaking as others have mentioned before. It does dribble when releasing the button on the spout, so keep the cup there for a couple seconds or have something to catch the drips. Plan to use this on the boat, all summer by the pool, and for all of our cookouts and camping.

Totally worth it
Brought this camping to a music festival - Coachella. It kept water cool and preserved the ice in 90+ degree weather. It saved us from buying cases of water and wasting the water bottles after opening them. I highly recommend this silo. Although the price seems steep, for big groups especially when camping in hot weather, it kept us hydrated and cool. It’s totally worth the investment. Can’t wait to take it to Zion in September!
