Solid rack, simple install

Literally a 10 minute install, couldn’t be any simpler. I have this mounted on a Jeep CJ7 with 33x12.5x15. Had to let a little air out of the spare tire and used the longest adapter piece to reach the notch for a tight and secure fit. Immediately took out on a 20 mile drive over road and a light trail to get to the riding trail. Everything is tight and secure, no worries on a 40 mile round trip drive. I’ll leave this installed permanently, folds down only adding a few inches past the tire. I compared several spare tire bike racks, this and another that are in the $400 range, along with some less expensive ones in the $200-300 range. Watched some YouTube videos on them all and am confident this Yakima SpareRide rack is the best one available. Looks great, very secure.

NOT for all frames

Pretty ridiculous that it's not stated anywhere that this rack does not work for a woman's mountain bike with rear shocks. Adapters exist and there's no information here about it. $300 and I need to spend more in order to use it for a very commonly shaped bike frame.
