Expanse Road TCS Tire

For fans of routes involving as much smooth tarmac as forgotten chip-seal roads, the WTB Expanse tire keeps us rolling when we turn a new direction from that familiar intersection. The Expanse the new name for WTB’s Exposure tire, which we came to know and love for its all-road use. This new version has been shored-up and is made only in a 32mm, the sweet spot for speed versus comfort. The smoother center tread lessens rolling resistance for better speed, while the file tread outer helps with cornering and stability on mixed terrain. WTB’s tubeless casing uses a multilayered construction for a smooth ride that is durable even through rough conditions.

Didn't Quite Hit The Mark

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Cornering on pavement is not very good, and the durability of these tires is not up to par. I have about 600 miles on these tires and have had 3 flats from micro punctures in the side of the tires, and even a large pinch flat. A delicate tire, even at max psi. Time to try something else.
