Why carry a plethora of fly fishing gear when all you really need is the Wetfly Tenkara Package and some food and water for a day of backcountry bliss. Designed for the backcountry, the Tenkara method of fishing originated through simplicity and a focus on catching fish with only the necessary components—rod, line, and fly. This simplistic package features a telescopic tenkara rod which enables it to easily collapse into a 20-inch tube. In addition, Wetfly also includes two furled leaders, one spool of 5x tippet, a dozen carefully selected flies, and one bamboo fly box. Because there's no reel, the art of Tenkara fishing relies on the angler connecting to the fish while providing lifelike action to the fly.
