Devour skyscraping peaks for breakfast with the Voile Objective BC Skis on your feet. A lightweight touring ski, the Objective BC was designed to cover some serious distance in the alpine. A narrow, uphill-oriented waist keeps the weight low but still provides enough surface area to get yourself back down the mountain. While you still need skins for the steep ascents, Voile's signature Traction Pattern Base uses small fish scales underfoot so you don't have to throw skins on for long, low-angle approaches or pesky rollers on your way out, maximizing your efficiency and boosting the ground you can cover in shorter amounts of time.
These skimo-inspired planks really shine on the uphill, but the double carbon laminate over a lightweight, poppy paulownia wood core keeps the ski stiff enough on the descents for a secure, confident feel. Early rise in the tip and tail helps you plow through variable conditions you may encounter, and underfoot camber offers a reliable edge hold on boiler-plate ice. The short turn radius gives the Objective BC a snappy, responsive feel so you can maintain squirrel-like agility while maneuvering through techy terrain.
