Bring back the old design
I have been buying vasque hiking boots for years, always were comfortable right out of the box and stayed comfortable, the new design is so uncomfortable that I can not wear them, tried different inserts with no luck, will no longer be buying vasque shoe, will need to find a different shoe that will be comfortable

Still a great boot
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 9.5
I'm too lazy to try other brands if what I have works well. I've worn Vasque Breeze boots for the last 10 years, and only replace them when the previous one gets worn out. This is my 3rd pair, and this model continues to work well for me. I've heard the comments about these boots not having Vibram soles anymore, but I have yet to notice anything functionally different as a result of that change. This size 9.5 is slightly larger (just by ~3mm) than the size 9.5 I wore for the Vasque Breeze 2.0, and I debated sizing up, but after hiking (and running bc it was getting dark) in them, I decided to keep the same size. Very happy with my purchase.

So nice, I had to compose a refrain: I once met a girl named Beasley, who liked my Vasque so Breezy. We joined together one day, and that's how we'll stay.... Alas, just a poem-rest easy! They really are a nice hiker. Were they the most comfortable footwear right out of the box? No. After about fifty miles of pavement they are getting cozy, though. The fit is right on. Not a single blister or even a sore spot. Thanks for the footwear, guys.

The best boot!
I’ve been wearing these for 25 years. My current pair I’ve wore for a year every day. Light weight comfortable and last.

Where did the vibram sole go?
I've been through many iterations of the Vasque Breeze, for hiking, search/rescue, and everyday wear. I'm now looking for a new pair of the 7742, but I see much to my disappointment that the outer sole is no longer Vibram. The part number is the same, but the sole isn't. I won't bet my life on anything other than Vibram, so that's the end of the Breeze for me. RIP.

Waterproofing does not last!
I have had these boots for a few years but only use them once or twice per year. The fit is good but the waterproofing is not. Walking through just 2-3 inches of muck and my feet get wet. I have an old pair of Timberline boots (not for backpacking) that are still waterproof after many years!

Lost a Step
When the I originally bought a pair of Breezes 4 years ago I loved them so much, that when I can back from my 2 week hike I went out and bought a second pair to keep that continuity going. Since then both pairs served me well. I bought these and so incredibly disappointed that I returned them after one walk around the the block. Everything is cheaper. The fit is off. It's just a bad shoe. I'm writing this review in hopes they will improve their product so I can come back.

Changing the soles
I have wore the Breeze shoe now for the 15 years. I had just purchased my last ones a little over a month ago and I can`t wear them. I wear them everyday for work on concrete and by the end of the day my feet are very sore. When you stop making them with the Vibram soles, they are not the same.

Vasque Breeze are terrible !
A few months in with very minimal wear and walking through wet grass for 10 feet and I have wet feet. What a complete waste of my hard earned $. This brand will never be on my feet again
