Sizing Is Off

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
6.5

I've been ordering size 6.5 in Vans for years and never had issues with the sizing. These are the exception. They're much tighter in the toe box than any other Vans shoe and left blisters on my feet. I really wanted to like them and wore them longer than I should have hoping they'd break in more. Alas, they just aren't sized correctly.

I really wish I had paid attention to the reviews before ordering these shoes. I have wanted these shoes for so long now that I was too impatient to get them and just ordered them without reading reviews. But they are very snug in my usual size 7. I never have a problem ordering online in that size until now. But I am afraid if I went to have size up they would only be longer because the shoes are actually snug, hard to put on Once they were on they were fine so I thought it would just be a matter of inconvenience but when I wore them on a 4 hour ride home from vacation they hurt my feet, I guess from my feet swelling while sitting so I am so disappointed because I so love Vans but can't wear them for walking since they have low support. I thought these would work perfectly.

Cheap design

I own 28 pairs of vans and these are one of my least favorite designs. They seem like a shoe you would find in the dollar store... how ever I recently got some of the vr3 ultrarange and I highly recommend those

Size up

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
10.5 Womens

Like others have said, they are narrow and the overall volume seemed small. I needed to go up a full size! So now they are a little long, but not crazy. I was also hoping to swap out a the foot bed, but they're not removable. I'm happy with them now that I have the right size.

Vans Ultrarange Shoes

Found these at Motosport for a great price while searching online. Great communication from seller, arrived quickly! We found they seemed to be a half size smaller. Such a good deal, I gave them to my grandson, and ordered another larger pair for my son's birthday gift!

Amazing shoes. This is my 10th pair

I love these shoes and the flexibility my feet have in them. They are lightweight, and comfortable. I am really hard on my shoes, so I can get about 8-12 months out of them. Zero complaints.

Too narrow

As stated in the other reviews, the toe section is too narrow and sizing is off. Ive worn vans my whole life, and the same size always fits without worry. This is on me cause i didnt read the other reviews just assuming these fit like my others.

I've been wearing vans for years and always size 12, never had to think about it. These shoes would probably be great if you have narrow feet. I don't have a really wide foot (if I did I'd buy a wide shoe) and literally EVERY other pair of vans that I've ever owned fit in size a 12. Except these. I sent them back for a refund. Unfortunately with backcountry.com you have to pay for return shipping. So this whole thing actually cost me money... I would recommend trying then on at a actual store so your don't come out losing money like I did!
