Boots tore apart at the seam
I have heard a lot of bad feedback about these boots, I have bought a pair and returned them but love the light weight and boa laces, but my second pair fell apart, both pairs that failed me had very limited use, early season miles only!

Honest Review After 3 Seasons of Use
These boots are good. Not great but they're good. I'll highlight what I like and what I think needs improvement. Likes: These boots are pretty comfortable. They have good arch support, the waterproofing has held up through a lot of rainy days and hiking through very wet terrain. They provide decent ankle support and I've never had a blister. The tread is durable and pretty grippy. I love the double BOA system on these boots. I love the ability to tighten the boot over the top of my foot easily rather than traditional laces needing to be completely re-tied. They do come loose as you hike but the adjustment is quick which is awesome. I've read a lot of reviews stating the BOA system broke but I haven't had this issue and I tighten them very tight and often. Overall they're a good early-season boot. What I think needs improvement: These boots are way too flexible. If you're hiking in steep terrain, your feet will be sore from your toes and arches flexing and stretching with every step. This wouldn't be an issue if they were a bit stiffer. The flexibility of the boot also makes digging into a hillside in steep terrain much more difficult and you can lose your footing because of this. These boots don't have any insulation, so mid to late season hunts, your feet are going to be cold. These boots are also loud. Since the outside is mostly rubber, they squeak with every step which isn't ideal for stalking, especially during archery season. I've had to remedy this issue by leaving the top of the boot loose but tightening up the boot over the top of the foot. Overall, these are good early-season boots. They have some drawbacks but I've put countless miles on these and they've held up well. I think if UA implemented some of the changes I've listed in this review, they'd be one of the better mid-level boots on the market.

Great fit but not water proof
I absolutely love this boot! I have had three pairs of CH1 boots! Great fit! Love the boa system! the boot is almost perfect for archery season and everyday hiking but every pair i have had leaked. One pair was brand New and leaked same week i got them luckily. Sadly they are not waterproof and after the first 60 days Under Armour refused to help with warranty. They have a Gore Tex STAY DRY GUARANTEE and UA refuses to honer it. I had to go to Gore Tex for help. Its really disappointing cause I love these boots.

Trash
Great fitting boot but the thin wire laces pull the loops out of the boots, I don’t see why on earth you wouldn’t reinforce where the loops are attached to the boot. J-U-N-K

Noisy and come loose.
I expected a comfortable and stealthy pair of boots. The black liner will squeak if you dont use a wax on it. The boa system come loose. When you bend while kneeling the middle I of the top foot section makes a plastic click sound. I do like the sole. Will not buy again. Last pair with boa the fat tire were also a disappointment.

What A Let Down!!
I was very excited to receive these boots for the start of hunting season 2021. But boy was I let down.. First off, they have the most fragrant smell out of the box. Not a good combo with hunting. Secondly, I might as well be wearing light up sketchers with bells attached on the back. It’s not a secrete when you’re walking through the woods by any means due to the material the wire shoe laces run up against. But besides from not being water proof, loud and smelling back. The shoe fits and looks cool. Don’t buy them for hunting. Really regret it.

Best Whitetail boot I've ever owned
I live in the northeast and hunt over 100 times a year. I hunt deep on public land and wanted something agile and light, while at the same time, offering good traction and silence. These boots are comfortable, quiet and warm. With the right socks (merino), you can wear these boots in low 30s. I don't even use Toe warmers either. The only thing to note is that they have a strong chemical smell initially, but it fades after a week of use. I will be buying a second pair to keep stowed away, in case UA stops making these

Noisy and Poor Padding for Soles
I liked the fastening mechanism for it’s ease of adjustment and there aren’t laces to get snagged on brush, but these boots squeak a lot. It was to the point that, when turkey hunting, I’d think I was hearing hens off in the distance only to realize it was my boots squeaking while I walked. Not ideal for stalking. The balls of my feet also were always sore from lack of padding. I really hope they work on these improvements because they could be awesome boots. They’re super durable.

Great for heat, rain, snow, and indoors!
I tried the "Men's UA CH1 GORE-TEX® Hunting Boots" as a replacement for my "UA Men's Tabor Ridge Mid Gore-Tex Boots" and they're great! I'm a regular office worker in PA. So, I want boots that I can comfortably wear in the summer heat, rainy season, winter snow, and inside an air conditioned office space. The BOA lacing system is very nice, I can quickly get my boots on with ease to the perfect tightness. My high arch doesn't hurt wearing these boots. It's very comfortable after 2 weeks of wear. To the left and right of the top BOA system, on the sides of the shoe, there are metal sheets that bothered me. After bending them with my hands a bit, they no longer dig into my feet so I never notice them anymore and they continue to give the boots stability. The boots were initially noisy in multiple ways. The bottom of the boot made lots of noise against tile floors. I rubbed wet paper towels and laundry dryer sheets on them and it alleviated the issue. There was a snappy sound of rubber when the boots bent. The problem was that I wasn't tightening the top BOA system of the boots enough, so my feet were too far forwards which made the boots bend a lot more than they should have. I currently have no noise issues with the boots. I read other reviews complaining about the waterproofing of the boot. So I filled my bathtub up to 4 inches of water and walked around inside of it for 2 minutes, so the waves probably reached 5 inches tall. I felt no leakage and my socks were still dry. Looking at the inside of the boot, the tongue of the boot is connected to the sides for a majority of the boot, but not all of it. I used a ruler and measured that the connection ends 6 inches off the ground. So don't walk into water greater than 5 inches deep with these boots or the waves might enter. The breathability and flexibility of the boot is great. GORE-TEX is very nice =) The boot bends similarly to cloth sneakers. I'm sure the intersecting stripes of rubber on the outside will help the boot keep their shape for a very long time! Whereas cloth sneakers lose their shape after around 1 year. I really like these boots. They're very thin, flexible, breathable, and weather resistant.

Very poor quality
My son bought a pr and was excited to wear them on an Idaho Elk hunt. Day one the eyelets on one boot pulled out where the cable hooks. Tore the lining out of the boot.

Will these boots keep my feet dry in light mud and light snow? I love a high quality boot, but they must be waterproof to hunt in these mountains.
