To ensure dryness, Timberland uses premium leathers with waterproof-impregnated properties that become part of the leather during the tanning process while an internal waterproof breathable membrane supplies watertight protection. All of winter's snow, rain, and slush won't faze this boot.
No need to worry about cold toes, as the Mount Hope comes insulated with 200g PrimaLoft insulation which uses synthetic fibers (50% recycled P.E.T.) to form a dynamic insulation structure that maintains its loft and retains its warmth even if it happens to get wet. The Mount Hope also uses aluminized Strobel construction which increases warmth by reflecting radiant heat back towards the foot so your foot stays comfortable throughout the day. Cozy microfiber fur lining also provides comfort, warmth, and chic style while D-ring lacing gives an adjustable, comfortable fit.
An anti-fatigue removable footbed provides all-day comfort and support while a TPU shank ensures torsional rigidity. Designed and manufactured with Timberland's commitment to the environment in mind, the Earthkeepers line of boots uses recycled P.E.T. in the lining while 42% recycled Green rubber is used in the Mount Hope's Green Gripstick rubber outsole. In addition, the leather used in the Mount Hope is from a tannery rated Silver for its water, energy, and waste management practices.
