Pooling water and dripping into tent
After using this tent in fairly heavy rain, we noticed that water pooled in four areas of the tent, including over both doors. We checked the tent set-up, ensuring that the guy lines and fly were attached and tightened appropriately. Water still pooled. This of course should not happen. One issue is that the pooling occurs over each door. So, if you try to get out of the tent and push on the door, the water will flow over the edge and either down your shirt or into the tent. Another is that the tent takes much longer to dry out. We contacted North Face, but they were unwilling to consider our comments, noting that they did not see this as a design flaw. After a couple of exchanges with customer support, we were told that they considered the issue closed, indicating that we could stop writing to them about it. Please see the attached photos. On the positive, it is quite spacious. Also, despite the heavy rains we experienced on two different trips for two nights each, the tent did not leak, except for the water that dripped in through the screen when opening the door. Unfortunately, this has negatively impacted our opinion of North Face quality.

A pivotal addition to the lightweight 4-person tent options
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to set up and incredibly light. Perfect for our backpacking trips.

Great for 4 person families wanting to be together.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good:Most importantly this tent is big...for a 4 person backpacking tent. NF has maximized head space, and nicely sleeps 4 (although you will be touching shoulder. As long as you're not too tall anyway. The vestibules are sufficient and the rain fly coverage is good. As long as it's staked, ventilation is also good. It appears to work fine as a fly and ground pad to minimize weight. The materials are light weight but bot lacking in Quality. It's intuitive and easy to set up/take down and thanks to the oversized twnt bag, quick and easy to pack up. The doors are U shaped hanging doors-amazing! I will never go back to a D door. This is not a car camping tent, don't waste your money if you're not backpacking. Bad: the floor has a long seam... this will likely e a serious problem on a few years when the seam tape fails. The footprint also has a seam.... At the price, it's not light, and it's short 4 stakes to fully stake(not unique to TNF)
