The North Face Slashback Cargo Pant is a good option for hitting the slopes without draining our bank account. It features a breathable waterproof membrane, keeping us dry as you plow through fresh snow, and blocking the wind while we're riding the lift. Integrated snow gaiters keep powder from creeping up the cuffs, while inner thigh vents let us dump heat if we're hiking with our board. The North Face equipped the Slashback with an adjustable waist for secure comfort, and plenty of pocket space for snacks, phone, ski pass, and trail map.

These pants are exactly what I was looking for
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a set of North Face bibs, which I like. But I tend to get too hot in the bibs if it's anything more than sledding/snowblowing levels of physical activity. For skiing with my kids these cargo's are exactly the ski pants I was looking for. When I was younger I was one of the few skiers wearing cargo ski pants. It was generally frowned upon, only boarders could be so casual and comfortable on the slopes. I ignored the social norms of the time and sported my cargo's with pride. They were comfortable, not too tight and functional (we all need pockets!). I've now got three kids on the hill with me and while I'm surely being judged by the on-mountain fashion police, these pants are fantastic. Just enough lining to be perfectly warm but not too hot, vents for the unusually warm days, 4 pockets (2 of which zip)...I mean...this is heaven. I'm the kind of guy that finds a style/size of something I like and buy every color available. I might buy another set of these as backups just in case the powers-that-be decide cargo's are truly too progressive for 2023 and beyond. Would (and probably will) buy again, highly recommend. These pants are great.

Great pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Warm fits a little snug, suggest upsizing a bit to compensate for clothing under the pants.

Very good overall.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for skiing in Southern California. Overall, these pants are doing a very good job. Work well for skiing, probably better for snowboarding. Pros: wind resistance works well during Santa Ana winds. Waterproofing works well against snowy chairs. Comfortable within 20-40F temps. I haven't worn them yet on a very cold or warm day. Breathability seems OK. Color is nice and true to picture. Cons: Waist belt is useless. Way too long. I ended up just using a ski belt through the loops. Pants are a bit baggy for me. Clips on pant cuffs not needed for ski boots but helpful for snow boots.

TNF makes bomber stuff that lasts and fits normal guys
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent Pants. Thick and tough enough to last but not heavy. I like the vents and honestly the belt loops made of hardened fabric are genius. I sometimes use suspenders with them and it is perfect. Highly recommend
