Best shoe I've ever had

I wear these to work in the hospital. I'm on my feet all day. I love them so much and I get compliments all day long. They are warm enough for a cold hospital

Broke after a few months of light usage

I loved these boots for the first couple of months, but they started breaking after that. In less than 5 months, they had a hole in the right shoe. This after only being used for city walking, with no stress on the area where the whole appeared. I love The North Face, but this footwear was a disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The look is great! Haven't tried it out in cold weather yet. The sole is pretty thick, hopefully it will be comfortable. But there is no insulating lining. Very tightly sits on the foot. If you put on a warm sock, you need to take half a size larger. Very tight lacing. To put on, you have to loosen the lacing.

So far the boots have been really comfortable, at the beginning they run a bit narrow but after 3/4 uses they hold perfect the feet on the sides. My normal shoe size tends to be 7.5us, for sportive shoes I go 8us but for hiking boots is recommended to go bigger so I went 8.5us and they fit perfect! Therefore I recommend to go one size bigger to what you normally use, not only on this model but other north face shoes and boots too as I tried them personally at a store before. These boots are easier to get in, and off, you just have to be organized with your laces. The materials are awesome! I give them 4 stars as in the back of the feet in the inside of the left boot are some stitches getting to be annoyed on the feet if the boots are not put correctly, I think is more fabric manufacturing related than design related but I cannot return for exchange the left one as I'm overseas. Apart from that, these boots are really awesome and even steal some looks on the go, highly recommend them! I would buy them again

I have tried other hiking water proof shoes that always end up wet but this ones are truly waterproof the only thing that I would complain about is the back lining of the shoe you have to wear thick socks or the back part will rub and irritate the heel of your foot, other than that they are great
