I See No Issue
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I do YouTube reviews and this stand up if you can get it below $100. Reverse flicking could be better and Vg-10 in 2024 at full price is disgusting. But I like it overall.

Like a lot of people I was curious about James Brand. As everyone knows the price is super steep for the materials used but the reviews are stellar so I finally decided to give it a try and was beyond disappointed. The blade was off center. And I mean like gas station knife off center - actually worse and I am not being hyperbolic. It actually rubbed on the scales when it opened. The knife was good looking and felt okay in my hand but it's very small. Obviously that isn't the knife's fault because the dimensions are clearly stated but just know it "feels" small in the hand. I have other knifes with very similar dimensions and they "feel" much bigger in my hand than this crooked Carter did. Definitely save your money and pass on this knife. I'd also say after owning 2 other James knives since this purchase (I wanted to give them a chance because I really did want to like their brand) I will not buy another knife from them. The fit and finish on their blades are incredibly poor for a knife with those price points.

Not as described
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
This knife is nice, feels good in hand and is easy to open and close. However, the knife as not as described on the website, there is no lanyard attachment, (main reason I purchased) and there is no decorative display box. ( Not really a dealbreaker for me)
