A very light useful way to keep coffee warm longer

Purchased this for my mother who is a very slow drinker. The cup works well without a heater to maintain warm temperature for longer than a ceramic cup, and it is even lighter! The saucer is a nice touch, but would be even better if it was designed to double as a cover for the cup

Disappointed

It does not perform as advertised. I work nights and I wanted a cup that would keep my coffee hot at my desk as I support my nurses on the unit. The FREE styrofoam cups in the break room function at the same level! I do not recommend this product

Good temperature holder

It was a gift and my step father loved it so much. He is a slow drinker, so the temperature holds just in place.

The Best

Very nice coffee cup. Great feel, well balanced (even when empty). Keeps the coffee hot. Best coffee cup I have ever held. I am proud of this cup. Perfect for my quite, leisurely mornings.

Who designed the saucer???

First the good - gorgeous, solidly built, fit and finish are very nice. Now the bad - the cup, when empty, will fall over at the slightest provocation because the handle makes it really top heavy. Lowering the handle on the mug by a half-inch or so would go a long way in improving the balance. The saucer really seems to be an afterthought - the diameter of the channel in the saucer doesn't match the top or the bottom of the mug - so when the mug is placed on the saucer one needs to make sure it sits in the center of the channel or it will tip over - this means holding it in place when moving around with it - what should be a one-handed operation becomes a two-handed one. It also means the saucer can't be used properly as a cover for the mug to keep contents warmer longer because the diameter doesn't match the top of the mug, so it doesn't sit flush. Basically, the saucer was designed by someone who has never used a saucer before. And then the obvious - until the mug 'breaks in' everything will taste of stainless steel. I've always loved Stanley products because of how well thought out they were. Some real genius went into the camping cookware. This product is not at the same level at all.
