Perfect for the application
Love this for camping. Less waste than using a press and hot water.

I love it!❤️❤️
I love my Stanley camp percolator! Made with good quality! And you see the little percolator perking the coffee through the little see through handle at the top of the percolator. And it percolates up to almost four cups of coffee regular 12 oz of course. Thank you Stanley for a wonderful job of manufacturing this percolator along with my other Stanley products.

An honest review
Here’s the truth, if you’re willing to follow the instructions and be patient enough to do things the old-fashioned way, this percolator makes a far superior cup of coffee than a Kuerig, or any other modern day coffee maker. That being said, it isn’t flawless, not that it needs to be, but if I could request one thing, it would be more capacity. The reality is that this is a single cup of coffee at a time, with enough for a top off. Again, I want to reiterate that, in my opinion, with patience and FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS, this percolator makes a superior cup of coffee. With PROPER use it will serve its purpose for a lifetime. The hinge could be more robust and the plastic knob should be glass. Those changes and offering a much larger capacity option, along with the current size, would make it 5 stars for sure. Makes me wonder why we wasted our time creating technology to brew coffee beyond the percolator?! Oh yeah, lazy humans unwilling to put in the time for the good things in life is why!! So, if you find yourself in the later category, stick with the Keurig, but if you appreciate a quality cup of coffee, buy this percolator, and put in the time perfecting the art of percolating. Gotta love simple physics, thanks science!

This pot does not deserve to be called a percolator
There are several key things wrong in the design of this coffee pot (severe enough that it doesn't deserve to be called a percolator). The drip disperser doesn't fit tightly around the riser tube so water just runs back down the center of the drip disperser making the drip disperser superfluous. The basket does not fit tightly around the riser tube so coffee grounds can escape from the basket. The basket diameter could have been considerably larger to make the basket stay centered in the pot and so that there is a better surface area to depth ratio for the grounds basket. The relief above the grounds basket should be deeper to maintain a suitable head of liquid above the grounds. The hinge lid is unimaginable primitive. The pot was designed by somebody who does not have a clue how a percolator works and Stanley should be ashamed.

Makes a nice cup of coffee
A nice percolator for the camper stove top but the somewhat small diameter and tall height make it a bit tippy when used on my backpacking MSR gas burner.

Works, but flimsy hinge
I've only used it to heat water on a camp stove so far, and it functions okay. However, the lid hinge just has a couple spot welds holding it and within the first few uses it popped off. It doesn't necessarily make it unusable, but I'm disappointed considering the supposed quality of the brand's products. I put in a warranty claim, so hopefully they stand behind their products as stated.

Not Superstitious At All.
The first time I used the percolator was January 9, the 49ers beat the Rams and secured a playoff spot. The second time I used it was January 16. The 49ers beat the Cowboys and advanced to the divisional playoffs. I used the percolator today (January 22). If the 49ers lose tonight I will change my rating from 5 stars to 1. In all seriousness, the percolator is great. It is easy to use and brews a very good cup of coffee with few. If any grounds.
