Your dream lines await.

Winning the highly acclaimed 2014 Transworld Good Wood award for all-mountain boards, the Slash Straight Snowboard is back for its second year of pillow-popping, pow-ripping, backcountry-slaying goodness. Highly directional in flex and shape, point this board down natural lines or steep chutes filled with deep powder. The longer, rockered nose allows you to surf through deep stuff without submerging, and a slightly stiffer tail gives you the stability needed to slash turns and stomp landings with authority. A Backseat CamRock profile is utilized to float through powder and slay dream lines that lesser boards wouldn't dare venture. This profile blends camber between the bindings with rocker at both the nose and tail.

Providing additional bite when turning, Reactive Flex gives this board the stability you need to drop in on Valdez-style chutes or fly across open faces at insane speeds. This technology allows the board to flex across the length and width. When initiating hard turns, the board's edges flex downward—giving the board more grip and a longer contact length. Ultimate Traction provides additional edge hold by placing a small, counter-radius bump in the middle of the board's sidecut. The end result is increased stability, as the rider doesn't have to rely solely on nose and tail contacts for edge hold.

Within the inside of this board, you'll find a Forever Wood core made of paulownia, spruce, beech, and poplar wood. This four-way wood blend reduces weight while increasing pop and response. Slick Tip construction within the nose and tail reduces even more weight, substantially lightening your load for hiking and riding backcountry lines. Reinforced with carbon/Kevlar® Landing Strips running from the tips to inserts, this snowboard will exhibit high levels of stability when hauling at high speeds. Speaking of high velocity, a sintered 9900 base is included for the fastest glide of any base available. This performance base holds large amounts of wax and holds up to abuse with its impact-resistant, super-dense structure.
