The Guide Boa Vibram Boot gives proper protection and footing while we find our way to hidden river gems where the fish are sure to be biting. Its TPU upper provides stiff support while the neoprene lining ensures it's still comfortable. We really enjoy that Simms made it with a Boa dial so we can put em' on quick when we're rearing to go and kick em' off quicker when we're back from a long day streamside.

Fantastic!
Best wading boot ever owned since 1997. Super quick in and out with the boa system. You will love em!

BOA best
The boa system is fantastic and quick on/off. Like all simms products high quality. Should come with at least one set of boot studs only issue

I couldn’t get the boots on because there was not enough room. The throat is too narrow because of the boa lacing. Had to return them for lace up boots.

Great Wading Boots
Amazing wading boots - best I've ever owned. They are very comfortable and I feel completely safe wading in them. I'd highly recommend these boots for any level of fly fisher.

Best boot ever
Light weight and so easy to put on and tighten. Normally wear a size 10. Ordered size 13 and it is a perfect fit with my wader socks.

A bit of a tight fit compared to the many other Simms boots I have owned.

SIMM'S BOA!
I Purchase mine almost four years ago. Mine came with a Vibram and a felt sole. I purchased 2 more different soles for different rivers bottoms. I love the BOS system easy in and out. After 4 years there still going strong. I have neuropathy in my feet. No problem with these boots they are so comfortable. The journey dose matter... In my opinion this is the best wader boot for your buck.

Tongue/Gusset doesn't open far enough
These are great solid wading boots and I'm proud to own and use a pair. However, the tongue/gusset opening is a bit too small - by the time I get my regular wading socks on, and then my waders, and I'm trying to get my foot into the boot...it is very difficult! The tongue doesn't open up enough to let my wader booties slide into the boots easily. Then there is getting the wader booties out of the boots when you're finished for the day, that too is challenging. I did not have this problem with my last pair of Simms BOA boots. The new design is a bit flawed for me...but great boots otherwise!

Great with one exception
These are really great comfortable boots. However, I agree with a previous reviewer about the placement of the d-ring to attach the bottoms of your waders. It is placed WAY too high, and therefore, I really cannot attach my Simms Guide Wading pants. Simms: next time, test your products together. Hard to understand why my Simms premium waders don't attach to these boots.

BOA Review
Recent purchase and third pair over 11 years. This is the lightest and most comfortable BOA boot I have owned. A detractor I noted in at least one other review, the boot clip does not align with the hook on my waders. This potentially could more easily allow river debris/pebbles to get into the boot. As a potential solution, I purchased the Simms river guards and noted the same misalignment with the wader hook and boot clip. Overall, I am somewhat frustrated with both purchases.
