Good waders - but they still leaked

While I love the waders, I fished these very hard in salt water. After 1 spring season they started to leak. I sent them back to SIMMS and yes they did repair them - (they should have replaced them). The reality is if they have seams... let's see how they did with the repair on them when I start fishing in a few weeks...

Best waders I have owned . The fit and material are superior . Just got back from kenai peninsula 10 days of dry fishing. Let's see how long they stay leak free.

Great wader

Fit great. Most comfortable waders I've owned. Will have to wait to rate durability. They do have a removable tippet pocket, but a permanent internal pocket would be a nice addition.

Keeping it real

OK, I almost made this a 4 star because of the price. Then I thought about it and you really get what you pay for. The fit is incredible, if you are a fairly fit person you will enjoy that fact that this wader is not a sloppy fit. The fit increases your mobility when climbing over rocks and logs. All the pockets have perfect placement and the zippers are easy to open and close. The materials used are all clearly top notch. Last and certainly not least. With the increased durability I expected that comfort would likely decrease. Not the case at all. The shoulders straps are comfortable and breathable. Nice job Simms!

The best of the best

Familiarity:: I've put it through the wringer

I obviously bought the womens version (but backcountry doesn't have it up right now), but these waders are the BEST of the BEST. I'm a fly fishing guide in Alaska in the summers and these things hold their own and have lasted me several seasons!!!. I'll never use another brand of waders now.
