Why We Like The Simms Confluence Stockingfoot Wader

Simms' Confluence Stockingfoot Waders let us wade freely and confidently with a set of features that cover all the bases. They feature a 4-layer shell and polycarbonate laminate for durable waterproofing that holds up to riverside bushwhacking and underwater tripping hazards. Their design also maximizes our freedom of movement with a lighter, stretchy 4-layer shell up top, adjustable air mesh suspenders, and compression-molded neoprene knee pads that add protection while still letting us bend our knees freely. The chest also features convenient pockets and fly patches, so we can keep our essentials out of the water and within easy reach as we're stalking smallies, brookies, and 'bows in our favorite streams.

Durable fish pantaloons

Great durable waders, the padding on the knees are great for low profile casting near spooky fish. Only downside I can find is I wish it had more belt loops going forward so I didn’t have to re-set it every time and so I can carry a holster.

A big step up

I’ve used these three times and like them a lot. They replaced an old pair of waist high hunting waders that had started to leak. They’re comfortable to get around in, though a bit long. The cuffs and reinforced knees are great features. Pockets are handy but not bulky. Belt needs loops. Quality seems excellent. I only use them in winter so I hope they last a long time.

Simms Fishing Waders

Just what you'd expect from SIMMS. Great design. Excellent fit. Durable materials. Quality workmanship. Love the built-in knee cushioning. I'd like to see a larger water proof pouch on the SIMMS models.

Awesome wader but I personally wish they had belt loops and a removable inner pouch like all the other models.

Great waders built well with built in knee pads doesn’t get much better

I just received your waders and I have to say these are my favorite waders that I own. The fit is excellent and the padded shoulder pads are very comfortable. I do a lot of fishing on my knees when the water is low and clear to keep a low profile and the knee pads work great. I love these waders and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great pair of waders

Buy These Waders

This is the first pair of waders I've had to buy in 15 years an OH BOY what an upgrade. They've seen a handful of trips since purchase. When it was 65F outside they did not feel hot; when it was 28F outside this last weekend with a base layer under they felt just warm enough standing in the middle of a river. I really like the external knee pads--scrambling up and down slightly sketchy canyons to try and catch a trout, sharp rocks were just one less thing to worry about. The chest pockets are also well placed for easy access. I like that the guards that go over your boots don't have a hook on them but instead fit tight enough onto the boot themselves to hold strong without me noticing. Zero hesitations in recommending these for anyone looking to stand in a river and slay trout.

Love them!!!!

Where have these been all my life? I’m 70 yoa and have just discovered the importance of good (and reasonably priced) waders. I’m trying but have yet to find ANYTHING I don’t love about these waders. Don’t have the energy or time to list all the great things about this wader. If you’re thinking of investing in good reasonably priced waders, check these out. You won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend them.

Knee padding did the trick!

Been looking for waders with extra knee padding. I love SIMMs waders, but always looking for a little more knee pad. I found em’ with the confluence. I’m always on my knees, whether it’s flipping rocks for entomology, or posing for a picture. My waders take a beating at the knees. Not to mention how painful it is to kneel on the ground with rocks and pebbles digging into your knees. I Absolutely love these. They got great. I’m 6’1”, weigh 185lbs, size 11 shoes. I got a size large. They fit great. Very comfortable. Great pockets as well. Huge fan.
