Why We Like The Selle SMP F30C s.i. Saddle
No matter what cycling discipline is our favorite, the Selle SMP F30C s.i. Saddle is our go-to for unmatched comfort and support. Since we spend hours a day in the saddle, riding free of pain is a necessity, so Selle SMP built this high-performance saddle with an ergonomic shape, durable carbon-reinforced nylon body construction, and strong AISI 304 stianless steel rails. The “eagle’s beak” tip eliminates pressure and unwanted tingling in the perineal area, while the absense of padding optimizes overall comfort.

Love the pocket for my sit bones- just m
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I bought three Selle SMP saddles to try- the F30C SI, the Drakon, and the Nymber. I thought I was going to like the F30C because of its depressions for the sit bones. However, it was not to be. My butt liked the Nymber the best. I highly suggest people try several saddles. Your body will decide.

Counterintuitive, game-changing comfort
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I am a 53 yo endurance cyclist weighing 215lbs. My pursuit of a perfect saddle ends with the F30C si! With a quality padded bib short, this saddle is perfection for me. It remains comfortable after 100+ mile rides. After a proper bike fit, I went down the rabbit hole of saddle selection. I went through the full line of Fizik saddles. I also tried the Specialized Power Mirror. The Fizik Tempo Argo was quite good (the Power rubbed by thigh and became uncomfortable after 50 miles). I almost stopped my search at the Tempo Argo, but decided to try the F30C s.i. It is hands down more comfortable. That said, I did need to experiment a bit with saddle layback and tit (I run mine with nose slightly up).
