Designed for everyday rides and races, this sleek, versatile helmet uses trickle-down technology from Scott's pro-level helmets to keep you safe in the saddle, whether on gravel or road. The MIPS technology is hardly noticeable beneath the ultralight, in-mold polycarbonate/EPS foam body, while the extensive venting channels Scott added throughout promote cooling airflow.

Helmet looked rather nice when I got it. Wore it for all my rides this year and didn't have any complaints with it. Felt comfortable enough, and the large vents helped wick heat from my sweaty dome in the summer heat. Wasn't too difficult to adjust and it fit pretty well. Got into an accident at the beginning of the month. Could have been much worse (bike was totaled) ) took a good hit to the head but the helmet protected me very well. Still had a concussion but I'm not aware of any magic helmets that can cushion the inside of your head too.

Weight spec? Pictures of helmet interior WITH plastic retention harness? Backco needs to break out their scale: Scott does not publish weight, which is bizarre given: A) weight is sole, objective, quantifiable spec for a helmet, B) Scott is such a Euro, weight-obsessed XC brand. Along the same lines, why on earth would Scott *remove* the entire plastic retention harness before taking pictures of the helmet? Images of the fit harness / padding configuration are the *most* important visual information that can be conveyed regarding comfort and fit.
