Size .5 up!

Great bouncy light weight shoe, but size .5 up! Ran the boston marathon in them and toes were hitting the front of the shoe (especially during the downhills). I'm always an 8 in Saucony shoes.

Great racing shoe!

These shoes are great! Helped me reach a 5-minute PR in the half marathon. These shoes push you to a quick turnover and you almost feel like you are on springs. They are a fun, quick shoe perfect for race day. A couple of notes. While they are great on straight and gradual turns, don't be surprised if you need to slow down around sharp turns. Additionally, runners with a more natural heal strike might not have the same experience. The shoes' natural forward foot rocker seems to favor runners with more of a mid-foot strike. Further, the shoe becomes more stable at harder efforts, definitely a racing or speed shoe and not a daily trainer. Lastly, there is not a lot of grip on the soles. I may be worried about using these shoes in rainy, slick conditions (although to be fair I haven't tried them in those conditions).

Unisex Sizing Flop?

I am a long time devoted Saucony runner and have consistently rotated through Kinvaras, Tempus, Liberties, Shifts, Speeds, Pros and Elite 1's over the last 8 years. I have ALWAYS been a women's 7.5 in every pair. With out fail I can put them on, go out and run and they feel like I've worn them forever. No blsters...no aches and pains..no soreness...until the Elite 2 came along. The bounce and roll is an absolute dream but the sizing is off and I am left with extremely sore toes. I'm super disappointed in the sizing. Is this because of the unisex sizing? Did I get a defective pair some how? I'm not sure but I really wanted them to be my next PR shoe! Runners beware!

A bit unstable for me

Purchased from a mom and pop shop. I’m not an elite athlete but I am working toward running a marathon. My PB for the half marathon is 2:08. I have wide feet and I decided to go 1 size up from my true to size measurement. They fit ok. It’s not super snug or loose. It was a good decision to go 1 full size up for me. The shoes are not bad. The heel is so soft it feels very unstable especially getting up in double digit miles. My feet had to work really hard to stay balanced. I would wear these in shorter races since I’m not used to them.

Incredi-ble!!!!

I bought this shoe on the day it released. My first run in the Elite2 was a half marathon. I ran for a personal record and I knew that the reason for this performance was because of the Elite 2! Super soft and bouncy - unlike any other super shoe I've tried to date (I've tried them all). These are special for so many reasons. The incredirun is incredible!!! Plenty of foam in the forefoot, my legs weren't even sore at all. I'll be using these for the Chicago Marathon and Disney Marathon. I'm in love with the Saucony Endorphin Elite 2!

Better than Version 1!

43x marathoner, including 14 Boston's. This ain't my first rodeo. I just took these babies out for a spin and I really enjoyed the feel. I will be wearing these for Boston marathon next month. These shoes have a tremendous bounce to them that I enjoy. I see others complaining of the sizing, but I did not have that problem. Plus if you're running distance you want a bit of space for your toes to swell and expand. I thought last years model, it would feel like my foot was slipping out. This year the overall fit is better from the upper to the heel. I definitely recommend.
