There's a reason that Salomon’s Warden binding system has been around for so long, with an adamant following nonetheless. In addition to being a burly 13-DIN ripper, we like how the Warden is designed to be compatible with pretty much any boot (just check that your boot is either ISO 5355, ISO 9523, or WTR-certified), saving you the cash and hassle of investing in a whole quiver of different boots and bindings. It still shreds, too, with an oversized platform for increased control of modernized wide skis. The U-Power toepiece and Heel Flex Interface offer bomber retention and reliable release, and Progressive Transfer Pads supply a smooth, powerful feel and excellent lateral power transmission.

Great all-mountain binding,.
Paired these up on a new set of Blanks and they are great. Very secure and made for rocking the mountain. Easy to enter and exit with the boot and has a definite lock sound when the boot is set. Nothing fancy, but solid and looking forward to years of use.

Exceptional binding
I purchased 2 pair of the Warden 13s. I work as a ski instructor at JHMR. First ride was in 52 inches of new snow . Great performance . I think the toe adjustment is exceptional as I can use various AT boots and alpine soles without compromising safety/ release.

Warden 13 absolutely rules the mountain!
I got a set of Warden 13's (Otter) for Xmas to mount to my new QST 92's (168) for an all-mountain set up to add to my quiver. WOW!!!!! I've spent the last month ripping wicked east coast hard pack on them. The combo of Warden 13 and the QST's just riiiiippp it all up. I'm chasing my boys through the glades, sneaking off into the bumps, and just shredding groomers. The response from boot to binding to edge is phenomenal, just so quick. The Warden 13 makes my boot (Salomon Shift 120) one with the ski!

Broke down
I thought it was a mounting issue until I saw people had the same situation in the other reviews, I landed from a jump then I was left with one ski. Lmfao I had to walk all the way down with ski boots

Great until it wasn’t.
First day skiing with these bindings on my brand new Nordica Enforcer skis. Everything was feeling great until a fairly innocuous low speed tumble and I’m left with only one ski. The other one has slid about 100’ down the slope from me. Took me a while to figure out that the plastic that holds the brake in place had snapped off and the brake was nowhere to be found. Maybe it was some kind of freak circumstances and given how highly rated these bindings are I’ll probably accept the same as a replacement but it was definitely unexpected.

Another great binding
I bought these for front side daily drivers and couldn’t be happier. No pre release issues, great color, and an overall great binding.

Best All Mountain Binding Out There
Been using Salomon bindings for my whole life. Wether it had been drivers, sth 2’s or now the warden; I’ve never ridden another binding brand I have felt more comfortable skiing hard in. The geometry promotes great power transmission to the edges and consistent release when you need to come out. But great retention otherwise. I have wardens attached to every pair of skis I own and urge my customers to purchase the same.
