High hopes, but a complete miss.

Great looking sandals, but they deliver so short on comfort, They should have never passed Salomon’s quality test. The foam edge on the inside of the straps is so sharp that it hurts around the ankle, I cannot see myself wearing these even for leaisure, they are so uncomfortable around the straps. They will cut through the skin in no time. The neoprene on the inside of the straps needs to be thicker and with rounded edges. The footbed is great though. Too bad, this is one of the coolest looking sport sandals, let’s hope v.2 is much better

Awesome sandals

Love these for the beach and easy trail runs on hot days. Wonderful grip (just like the speedcross). I thought they may be a bit big (bought same size as I would for speedcross shoes) but when running the extra room on the sandal is needed.

So much potential...

I was so excited when I found out about these sandals, combining the contragrip tread with a nice airy sandal seems amazing... but I was a little disappointed with how little they protect the toes. A little more of a lip around the front, and a little more padding on the straps and these would be top notch.

Great Tread and Bottom of my feet are happy

Overall, I'm enjoying these sandals. I like the thick and deep treads. They are rated for hiking, but I'm just a city guy stomping on concrete. I normally wear 2e shoes and these fit me well so if you needs sandals that are a little wider then these might be a good fit for you. The bottom of my feet feel good with the memory foam/leather material.

Angry Soles!

These are great sandals with the most aggressive sole ever put on a sandal! But they are Great on wet grass and are super for day hikes off trail if you are so inclined to in sandals. As far as durability goes they are the same rubber as the speedcross shoes so if you stay off road they will last a lot longer (softer rubber gets eaten up by asphalt and concrete). Over all I order another pair in case Salomon stops making them in a year or two! Size wise I normally wear an 11.5 in the speedcross and these were only in full sizes so I went with the 11 and they are perfect on slightly more narrow foot.
