What I needed!
I have a few other running vest but they all fit a bit to snug and always felt like an unwanted persistent hug. The Ultra vest helped fix that issue. My only gripe would be how the collar rides up my neck when weighted down with my fluid bottles. Thinking about how to fix that for longer runs with a small amount of additional fabric attached. Other than that I’m am more than satisfied with the purchase.

Disappointed
I've used the older Advanced skin 12 pack for years until the chest strap and flask cord broke, so I upgraded to a more minimal S/Lab Sense Ultra 5 pack. After 6 months, I've had so many issues! The flask pocket cords are broken causing the flask to bounce and either start falling out or falling to the bottom of the pocket. Also the shoulder straps constantly cut into my neck and also left burns on my clavicle. Simply can't wear it anymore unless I wear a higher collared shirt or jacket underneath. Gonna hope that the new Sense Pro 5 set is better or I'll need to go with something else.

Using this for long trail runs in the Santa Monica mountains. Typical run is 10 miles with 1500 elevation on fire roads. Needed something that allowed me to carry some hydration and car keys. My mountain biking hydration pack is too much for running. This works perfectly. I run with my car keys, a lightweight windstopper vest tucked in the back with a bar, both water canisters filled, and I put my phone in the pocket on the left. Works great! hardly know it is there when I run. Love having the ability to get my phone out fast for photos too.

Great product
I have used this pack for years and ran multiple trail marathons with it. It has held up great.

Bad fit/waste of money
I purchased this pack 2 months ago. I wore it once on a 20 mile training run. I will never wear it again.

An ok vest.
I bought the vest in hopes that it would be a better option than using my bladder vest to alleviate some of the weight on my back. I can say that it fits nicely and is comfortable unless using the front flasks. I used it several times on long runs before using it for my ultra race. Needless to say, the flasks hit my ribs so much during the race that I was black and blue for weeks. During the race, the functionality of the flasks was not feesible for a quick fill up and go. The straws would not lock into place after the fill up, causing me to keep stopping. For future races, I will be purchasing the bladder in hopes that it will be a better experience.

Best running vest on the market
Lightweight, comfortable, easy access to water, odor-free, and plenty of storage for a day out on the trails.

Best pack
Super lightweight running backpack, you wont even feel that you wear it. A lot of pocket for gels, bars mobile or even poles. It fits extremely well and mountain runnig will be so much better with it.

Very disappointed. Lots of bounce and chafing!
I am right on the cusp of the small and medium chest measurements (my chest is 37.5), so I ordered both to try on. The small seemed to fit best, so I went with that. The medium moved about a fair bit even at its tightest setting. All seemed great at first. You can really fit a crazy amount of gear into this pack and the material is super stretchy and comfortable. That is at least what I thought until about an hour into my run when I started to feel chafing on the back of my neck. I also found the two water bottles started bouncing somewhat dramatically at about 2/3 full, causing some discomfort as they hit my lower ribs. After a while, both my neck and ribs were so sore, I had to remove the pack and carry it for the last few miles. Really disappointed to have spent so much money on something I’m now too afraid to use again! Perhaps it’s something to do with my sizing. If you have a bit of leeway either side of the measurements, you may be ok, but based on my experience alone, I will not be recommending this pack to anyone.

Almost S-Lab Radical
This vest is a great piece of equipment, but multiple 5-6 hour runs have shown some potential improvements. The small side zippers can rub on the inside of your arms and the hard bottom of the water flasks leave the bottom of your ribs bruised. With that aside, it carries hydration and the weight of gear well.
