No grip if soft underfoot
I bought this shoe to train for and race in my second trail ultra.i have raced Xcountry events in Salomon Speedcross shoes for approximately the last 8 years and been very impressed with the grip that these offer, though I needed something with a bit more comfort for the longer distance. Unfortunately though they are very comfortable and stable, they offer no grip whatsoever on wet or mildly muddy terrain. Maiden run was a 10 miler 50% road and trail. Road was great but as soon as I hit the grass trail I was disappointed. I won’t be wearing these to a trail event if it is wet underfoot. Very nice shoe but not fit for purpose. Needs deeper lugs.

suit shoes
After the first runs (up to 10 km) it is OK, it does not rub, it is comfortable, stable, it holds the leg well. I think we will become friends.

Excellent trail shoe

The shoes protect my toes, are very comfortable, and have a great lacing system. I used them for 100K, 50M, and 50K ultramarathons, and there were no significant blisters. They kept my feet in good shape, and I love them for my trail running.

Never had better
these are the best ever pair i’ve had and over the years i’ve probably bought 4 pairs…. the fit is perfect, the comfort can’t be beaten and the quality is fantastic

Grippy and comfortable
Bought these for a trip to Mexico where we went up a steep rocky mountain the real test was really coming down.... I was surprised on how well they grabbed especially on wet rock .... Don't know how durable they are .... but that one trip going up that mountain payed for themselves, kept me from getting hurt.... comfortable out of the box, no breaking in for me.... These made me a salamon fan...just bought some more.... Thank you Salomon....

Pulsar Trail satisfaction.
The fit and convenience of use is outstanding. I often go from cycling to Running and I can do so with ease with a single drawstring feature. I am a heavy sweater and shoes drought incredibly fast. I am very happy with my purchase.
