QST is now synonymous with resort control and freedom and the Salomon QST 98 Ski goes a long way in perpetuating this representation. The narrower 98mm waist on this ski offers impressive edge control in-between storms when the resort is running firm. To further handle these conditions, these sticks boast a stiff carbon laminate for stability at speed and cork inserts that prevent the rockered tip and tail from chattering at high speeds.

Good ski for a season
Very Gould looking high performance ski, however it built to last maybe one season. Half way trough this season with about 6 days of ski all edges chipped , may not effect the performance but already look older than my old skis after 10 years

My Favorite Touring Ski
Bought these, and set them up with Shift 13s, to use exclusively for touring. Some folks here in Jackson say they're too narrow. I disagree. They climb great, ski great, and hold up great.

Love these skis
I've skied the past 2 winters on these bad boys and they rip. First winter I was mostly at Whistler carving up a storm and hitting the high alpine bowls. From groomers to pow to airtime I always feel good on these skis. Last winter I was teaching at Mt Seymour and they held up super well to kids bailing and new skiers running over them. Also a ton of fun hitting all the side hits! Perfect for a playful ski that can still edge super well and float better than it's waist width suggests.
