The Salomon QST 106 Ski has become one of our all-mountain staples for enjoying a bounty of powder in the morning followed by ripping wind-buff in the afternoon. Its 106mm waist is paired with tip and tail rocker for ultra-intuitive performance in knee deep powder, yet it remains plenty maneuverable for variable snow conditions as well. Perfect as a one-ski-quiver, East Coast pow ski, or all-mountain daily driver, the medium-length turn radius allows for ripping short turns in tight trees or opening up on a high-alpine face. The carbon laminate effectively supplies stiffness to the ski core at a fraction of the weight of other materials, making it a great option for a ski that’s used both in the resort and in the nearby backcountry.

Everyone Needs a Pair of QST 106
One of the best, do everything, skis out there. Super versatile, approachable but can be hard charging. Makes a reasonable touring ski, not insanely heavy and pairs nicely with the MTN binding.

Love
These skis shred the trees, groomers, hard pack etc. Can’t go wrong with these!

Power house skis
Bought these skis a month ago and couldn't be happier. They charge through anything. Great in powder, just fine on ice, and excellent in choppy/variable snow.

Great All Mountain Ski
I have only used this ski once, but it crushed in a wide array of terrain. It carves nicely on groomers and did pretty well in the chopped up rodeo of variable snow. It felt like it floated well in powder, although this early season hasn't given me a ton of powder days to test. It's definitely not the most stable, firm ski, but you get a healthy mix that lets you ski the whole mountain and have a good time.

Best Ski Ever
This is one of the best skis I've ever owned. If I were forced to own only one pair of skis it would be these. They just do everything. Especially for resort days when you are skiing groomers and off-piste, but they are also my daily backcountry ski.

Best ski for everything
This and the 98 are the closest you can come to a one ski quiver. They have a great balance of versatility, stability, and playfulness that all skiers of different ability’s and preferences can enjoy. I prefer a stiffer bigger ski so the 106 is my pick, but the new 98 will do it all as well
