Hard soles
These shoes have no give whatsoever. They are not comfortable.

Exactly what I was looking for
Due to extensive ankle surgery with bone grafts and screws, I have a very difficult time finding comfortable shoes. These shoes are perfect for hiking and every day wear. I definitely recommend them.

Just not the show for me
I bought these with hopes they would replace one of my older pairs of Salomon hiking shoes. However, I had to return them. I put one on and immediately knew they were not going to work. The heel cup sat very low and gave no support and my foot was swimming in the arch area. The proportions just seemed off. Hopefully my next purchase will be more of a success, but for now I'm taking a break from this brand until their models become more consistent. On a side note. I've been wearing Saloman's for almost 20 years and the quality just seems to be going downhill with some of their models.

Excellent
These are awesome for me. I have a long narrow foot and the fit great. They are warm and I would buy them again.

Outbound, Amazing
Absolutely fantastic to wear all day long, so light, comfortable and the arch support is tremendous.

Wide toe and price appreciated
- Familiarity:

Haven’t tested on the trail yet but the wide toe is rare these days and appreciated. Very light weight. Traction indoors seems good. Haven’t tested waterproofness. Surprisingly breathable which could be partly due to wide toe box. I will add the seem also seems wide and a little sloppy. There is no wide they are just made wider than many these days. I did go up a size since hiking with heavier socks but I would say pretty true to size. Laces seem fairly secure. For the price, satisfied. Salomon has been disappointing me with the super expensive quests 3d gtx which have been my go to boots but the sizing went crazy and the traction has declined greatly but I still love the lacing system and wider toe box. Looking for other boots since at that price performance is not acceptable.

I. Love. These. Shoes and my daughter does too. She liked hers only because they?re cute but feels like me that they are incredibly comfortable. The grip is really good. I?m usually paranoid going down hill but with these I?m confident. And the shoe is lightweight. I thought I would have to go a size up like I do with my ASICS but these fit great at my actual size. I gave my daughter the 1/2 size up I ordered.

Buying a 2nd Pair
My wife suffers from Epidermis Bulosa on her feet which makes her prone to blisters. I got her a pair of these in purple/white back in March, so six months of wear. She has not taken them off since she got them, and just loves how comfortable and supportive they are, and that she does not get any blisters when going for walks as my wife is very active outdoors. Unfortunately they are starting to frey between the sole and the upper, which lets water in so here I am getting her a new pair, unfortunately Salomon seem to have discontinued the purple/white, so going for the denim/pearl. Lets hope they last a bit longer this time Salomon.

Looks Good
I prefer shoes that don’t look too clunky. These do fit that bill but in giving in to style I did lose out on some comfort as when I put in my orthotics I found the shoe is a little shallow in the heal for this. My old clunky black ones accommodated my orthotics beautifully. However, they are still doing the job of outside walks in all weather.

very Grippy!
They fit big! I wish I sized down but with a nice insole they are a wonder shoe to wear, the grip is perfect.
