Crafted thoughtfully by pro riders Wolle Nyvelt and Takaharu Nakai, the Salomon HPS - Taka Splitboard is a favorite around our offices for not just ditching the crowded resorts, but also taking the skin track less traveled. Meeting the mindset of "go anywhere and ride anything," the Taka heads out in search of natural playgrounds and untouched powder stashes with unreal float, control, and surfability thanks to its tapered directional shape, Powder Camber profile with huge rockered nose, lightweight yet lively construction, and medium flex. The Ghost Green core is made with select components to keep the ascent light and easy while also ensuring twitchy response on the way down, and is profiled to maximize the natural snap and pop of the wood. Ready to go out of the box, this backcountry dream machine comes loaded up with Pomoca Custom cut skins and carry bag, as well as Plum Hooks for optimal mounting.
