Krypto Snowboard

The Rossignol Krypto Snowboard is a powerful freeride board that's capable of ripping steep alpine faces and gliding across deep powder. Taking design influence from Xavier de le Rue's hard-charging XV, the Krypto comes alive when pushed to the limit on big lines and intimidating terrain. This stiff, directional board has a set-back for extra stability when you're straightlining chutes, charging through chop, and floating over powder.

Rossignol designed the Krypto with their Super Directional flex, meaning the board is stiffest under the rear foot for maximum control when you're driving in and out of turns. Blending the best of both rocker and camber, the board's Amptek Elite profile is 60% camber underfoot with 40% rocker at the tip and tail (20% rocker at each tip). Being predominantly camber, the Krypto exhibits liveliness while carving and snaps energetically off natural hits and jumps. Rockered tips make it float better than a traditional camber deck, which is especially welcome when it dumps a foot overnight at your local mountain.

Speaking of edge control, 7M serrated edges give you seven contact points or bumps on each edge for claw-like grip across the iciest snow and sketchiest conditions. Think digging into glazed-over ice and bulletproof bump runs for the serrated edge's optimal use. Inside this powerful freeride board, the TwinWood3 core uses both hard and soft wood laminates for an ideal blend of durability, snap, and stiff flex.
