That hasn't stopped Rossignol from updating it this year, though, with an adjustment that allows the FKS to be compatible with both standard and WTR rockered soles, so you can use it with any boot short of one with full-on tech soles. While you get added compatibility, the rest of the FKS is unchanged. The Full Action toepiece and FKS Turntable heel provide the best release and retention around, and the FKS still sports the most travel on the market, so you don't have to crank your DIN to femur-shattering levels just to prevent prerelease.
