Purchased for use with ski
Purchased for use with ski touring groups where weight and volume is a premium. This is considerably more compact and lighter than the equivalent full weight 4 person shelter. The lack of a window is no issue as these often crack and perish with repeated use and is a positive design feature. The light weight and low volume means it is much more likely to be carried without objection from group members less used to carrying a shelter as part of the shared kit. The material is silicone coated and quite slippery to the touch - a firm grip is required when deploying in windy conditions if it is not to become a kite... Brendan, Winter ML

This thing is awesome. Light
This thing is awesome. Light enough that I actually take it "just in case". Seems like it would be a little cramped for four people but ideal for two or three which is just fine in my opinion.
