What do you get when you cross whopping 900-fill goose down with superlight Pertex Quantum? Something that will stick around when history becomes legend, and legend becomes myth. It's a sleeping bag, not a unicorn, but the Rab Mythic 200 34 Degree Down Sleeping bag can still accompany you to places where myths are born. Weighing in at just over one pound, this ultralight sleeping bag is perfect for extended stints in the backcountry—like your upcoming walking holiday in the Lake District. With enough fluffy down to keep things light and warm, the Mythic 200 is great for late spring to early fall, and its natural insulation is treated to retain air-trapping loft even when you encounter classic English weather. Two quarter-length zippers offer ventilation options on warmer nights, the hood can be cinched down when temperatures drop, and the technical nylon shell consists of lightweight, fine yarn fabric that's water-resistant and easy to stuff into your pack.

Less is more
Both my fiancée and me own this sleeping bag. It is incredibly light, and surprisingly warm, considering how little down it has. Last weekend the temperature was -2ºC, and with a light down jacket and the Rab Expedition down sleepers I was very warm all night. I would recommend to use it with the Rab Expedition down sleepers in cold nights to have happy feet carrying minimun weight. I am sure it will give us a lot of good moments in the future. So far very happy with it.

Favourite Bag
Packs down to a neat size when travelling light. If it is going to be cool (<5C) I wear extra clothing and have always been snug. Only minor down side is the collar and baffle cording configuration can be confusing in the dark. Out of all my bags, this is the one that gets “borrowed” the most.

Psyched to get more mileage
Psyched to get more mileage in this thing....crazy light and compressible. Paired with a guides tarp, sleeps true to temp, and paired with down booties and a light puffy, even better. So far, so good!

Used the bag on a bike tour of the Pyrenees in poor weather. Warm enough and coped with the damp nights in a bivvy excellently. Should have bought one ages ago. Thank you Rab.

Light and warm
Bought this as a light summer emergency bag besides it's big brother the 600. The temperature rating is spot on. Had a bit of a cold night for the bag - 4, but with clothing on slept pretty well in a bivi at 3600m. Weight that is claimed it spot on, within a few grams. So very well done job by rab, most other companies claim lighter weights then the bag actually is. Only advise would be to get a other stuffsack.

This is a great sleeping
This is a great sleeping bag. Light weight, compressible and not to tight in the shoulders. I am 6'1 and 180 lbs and I didnt feel constricted in the bag at all. The temp dropped to 25 degrees outside my tent. I pulled my down jacket in the bag with me and I slept pretty good for 34 degree bag. I was wearing the Rab 160 merino plus top and bottom base layers. I would recommend this bag to anyone looking for a super light weight bag for spring summer fall adventures.

Technological Tour de Force
Just when you think that outdoor companies cannot push the envelope any further, someone does.. First off. I have tried quits/blankets whatever. I am a thrasher and a side sleeper. not for me! Over the last half century I have used 15-20 sleeping bags. I do not abuse my gear. I do subscribe to one point when purchasing gear. Get the best gear I can such that when on a backpack the old "i wish I had bought XXX instead" does not creep into my mind. This is the real deal. A) It will fit a 6 foot tall person (it goes to 6'1" or 185cm) B) It is leg snug but shoulder roomy C) The internal collar and hood are efficient. They trap heat in and once you are in the bag easy to adjust. D) I weighs 17 ounces, really! E) It feels warmer than my last 25 degree bag (Montbell 900 #2) It has a 1/4 zipper. It takes a bit of wrestling to get inside. Toss their stuff sack. Get a GG Uberlight one. I do not use a compressor sack. This bag is not for the "average" user. There are no bells and whistles. I would feel comfortable cowboy camping above treeline in the Sierras during summer. happy trails, Randy to sum it up, It is light (make that VERY light), relatively inexpensive and will last though a lot of use, just don't abuse it.
