Gusseted underarms allow you to move freely so you can reach that hold high above you, and the Optimal Visibility hood stays out of your face so you can see clearly when skiing trees in a snowstorm.

The two zippered hand pockets are positioned so that you can still reach them when wearing a harness or a pack waist belt, meaning you can easily grab that snack you stashed in your pocket while you're on the skintrack.
