Exit Sensor Glove

The Rim Trail overlooking the Grand Canyon offers magnificent vistas and is nothing short of photogenic when the evening light combines with a dusting of snow. But cooler temperatures mean cold fingers, so you'd better bring along the Outdoor Research Exit Sensor Gloves if you want to fully enjoy the experience. The wool blend shell insulates against the cold and seals out drafts, while the synthetic suede palm offers grip. Touchscreen-compatible fingertips let you use your phone to snap a quick picture to send to your mom.

great snowshoeing and hiking gloves

does well to cut out windchill despite being a knit product. provides excellent warmth at temps above 10 degrees for men, below is subjective on how hot/cold you generally run. staying idle will effect how well they work, they easily keep my hands warm enough at 0 when active and low winds. best used when i snowshoe and hike and waterproofing isnt required.

I've really put these gloves to use walking mi amigo around the neighborhood. So far he's allowed me to tie multiple bags of poo, and wrangle the T-bone he found in the neighbors yard out of his mouth. They're my all-around glove, good dexterity, very warm, soft and breathable.

Very warm, nice feel

Good gloves. Very warm. Great interior feel. I was wearing them for too hard of work and the outside wool started to pull a bit. Not using them for chores anymore and they are dandy

Hunted South Dakota pheasant with these gloves. It was very cold and my hands were not. Allowed enough dexterity to shoot while keeping my hands warm. I even bought a second pair.

Warm and Cozy

I really love the way that OR gloves fit. I have short fingers and have trouble finding gloves that don't leave a ton of dead space at my fingertips. These are nice and warm on very cold days. The material is durable, and the sensor fingertip has given me the power to stop using my nose to operate my phone when I'm out in the cold. These gloves are bulky and don't allow for a lot of dexterity, but I've never found a super warm glove that also allowed for fine motor skills. These are great for holding a dog leash, hiking with trekking poles, accessing a water bottle, and those sorts of movements. They're not great for operating zippers, unfurling dog poop bags, opening snack wrappers, or operating a camera. For days when I need insulation over dexterity, these are a great choice. For days when I need dexterity over insulation, I am replacing my old worn through OR Flurry gloves with new Flurry Sensor gloves. Between the two, I feel like I'll have all of my hand warming needs covered!

Good fit and warm down to at least -10C

Very happy with the purchase. Gloves are warm to the level I'd expected and provide enough dexterity to do the basics (put on & remove snowshoes for example).

Warm, comfortable, sensors not so useful

Warm and comfortable and overall really great winter gloves for temps over 10F. The sensor touch pads are not super functional with a touch-screen, I find I still take off the glove for efficiency. The wool outer layer has some flyaways, but it does not seem to affect the function. I wish there was a nose-wiping pad on the thumb, but the cloth section on the back of the glove works fine. Overall a fine glove, not sure if the sensor pads are worth it.

Beautiful and Warm

These gloves kept my hands toasty while standing outside watching the Northern Lights in Iceland. They are very soft and comfortable, and allow a decent amount of dexterity. Love the color combo especially helpful since it's easier to misplace black gloves. These would probably make a nice gift. True to size.

Great Quality!

Quality is top notch. These are great winter gloves for shoveling or snow blowing. They are not waterproof and are limited down to the high teens before your fingers start to get cold but if you are looking for a moderate cold weather glove these will fit the bill. The sensor feature is cool too for answering your phone without taking them off but they are bulky for anything else ie text or music player controls.
