Why We Like The CarryOut Dry Tote 30L

The CarryOut Dry Tote 30L is what we always wished a duffel bag was, and we reckon it may have taken a 'wet' travel experience for its inspiration. This duffel's fabric is completely waterproof and the convenient shoulder strap is wearable for long periods of time without discomfort. This bag fits in during our day-to-day errands just as well as it does as our overhead bag during long flights.

Solid Bag

Great adventure bag that also works as carry-on for air travel!

Lead Sales Consultant Tracker Boats

The Bag Ripped at the handles the very first time I lifted it to put in my boat. And it wasn't heavy. Also the bag fasteners on each side tend to slip out of there loops without doing anything. I was originally excited about the bag but It is not constructed very well and the secure straps are poorly designed you have to have tension in order for the straps to stay secure. This is not up to the standard I'm used to with OR Products. The size is good but the design was poor and the material to thin and poorly stitched. I'm a big fan of OR Products so I was very disappointed with this bag. I would put a waterproof Zipper instead of the roll down and I would make the strap able to tension up like straps on a backpack. The metal buckles are good and so are the loops but you missed your goal on this one.

No

The bag does not stay closed. The hook and daisy chain system I'm sorry to say are in my opinion useless I have had a good experience with everything else I have bought from OR so was extremely disappointed with this product. I bought two but both are of no use to me

The size of the bag is good, opening is wide and is easy to load things in and out. I'm less sure about the way it closes - the small clips on the side are hard to manage on the move (we white water raft).

Could do with beefier shoulder strap attachment points

I am using the product as a shoulder bag rather than a tote and I find that the should strap attachment on the daisy chain limits the load that can be carried. I bought this to make a waterproof camera bag for outdoor shooting in the rain. The padded insert from my LowePro Nova Sport 35L camera bag fits perfectly inside the tote. The roll top allows access in and out while limiting the amount of rain that gets in during access. It works well but I have to be careful not to carry too much gear. I am a professional photographer and some of my lenses are pretty heavy (1.7 kg) on top of the weight of the camera. Luckily, I limit myself to a single lens on the camera when shooting in the rain.
