Why We Like The Atmos AG 65L Backpack
It's simple: the comfier the backpack, the comfier the hike, and the comfiest backpack is the one that fits best. The Atmos AG 65 Backpack is Osprey's best-fitting, most ventilated, and comfiest option for multi-day treks. Multiple adjustments running vertically and horizontally place the padded shoulder straps and suspended mesh back panel right where we want them, and the padded Fit-on-the-Fly waist belt lets us buckle, cinch, and go without hassling with a bunch of micro-adjustments.

I used it for the first time on a 3 days back packing down into the Grand Canyon. Great in terms of organization and weight. Not so great on height location on my back, would have preferred it to sit a bit higher (I am 5”11’ and used the large back pack after measuring both sizes. Most problematic and disappointing - seams on the internal side of the waste band were cutting into my skin…

I just got back from a three-day, 18-mile backpacking trip. This pack worked flawless. It was easy to pack/unpack and easy to carry with the on-the-fly adjustments. It held up without any issues, including during several storms and miles of bushwhacking. The side compression straps worked great at keeping my fly rod secure. The sleeping pad straps are a bit thin but still managed to keep my tent on the pack. Osprey's products are some of the best around.
