Why We Like The Loon 126 Angler Kayak
When we want to get away from the riff-raff, find a nice stretch of open water and just catch some fish, there isn't a better boat to do just that than the Old Town Loon 126 Angler Kayak. Fully rigged for long days on the water, the Loon 126 comes with two flush-mounted rod holders, bungee deck rigging, and a watertight Click Seal stern hatch for added gear and tackle storage. Old Town gave the Loon 126 its top-of-the-line Active Comfort System 2.0 seat—a padded, adjustable, ventilated, and supportive seating system—for long-lasting comfort when we're spending upwards of eight to ten hours a day out on the lake. Old Town even threw in adjustable foot braces and thigh pads for a more comfortable and responsive paddling feel. And to keep up with the times, Old Town added a revolutionary new workdeck with a built-in USB port and storage.
Also new this year, Old Town gave the Loon a sleek new hull design which is both zippy and forgiving, with extra width and volume adding stability. A sharp keep line gives the Loon the ability to track well across wide-open lakes and maneuver into those tight fishing holes where bass and big trout love to hide from would-be anglers. Since this particular version of the Loon has been designed specifically for fishing, Old Town added an anchor trolley system, making it easy to deploy and retrieve a small anchor when want to post up on a hole, and it added a paddle clip to keep our paddle on board as we make a cast to that bass we spot boiling just off the bank.

The Kayaks are absolutely incredible. But both came with major deep scratches and one came with a deep gash in the side of the hull. When they came off the truck they were only wrapped in plastic. No protection whatsoever around the hulls. Also, we did not get the Kayak locking lids that go on the back of the Loons. We got the lid that is held down by ropes. I am disappointed for sure about this because we spent almost 3K on everything and I would expect to get something a with a little more damage control effort. Makes me weary of buying from here again. Customer service is helping me through the situation now and they're easy to talk to about it. But it still can't change the fact the above has already happened after waiting two weeks for these boats. :(

Loon Hunter
Absolutely love this kayak. I use it for hunting. Decoys in the back hatch and the dog on top. Hunting bag up front with the shotgun at the ready! Super comfortable and has plenty of room without being too large. Handles very well even with my dog on the back. The rigid but lightweight polylink hull is awesome.

Cuts through the water nicely
I am pretty much a novice however I could not be more pleased with it. Plenty of room and storage, comfortable, durable, well balanced and glides effortlessly. My brother in law has a Vapor and there is no doubt this is a better yak in all aspects (extra money well spent). If I had one complaint, it does not track as well as one would hope.

Excellent Kayaks
Purchase during Labor Day, had them delivered to Phoenix within 8 days. Took them to the large lakes and found they perform very well. Great products by a great company

Awesome kayak
Bought this kayak a couple of weeks ago. Shipping and customer service was fast and extremely friendly. This is quite an upgrade from my other kayaks. I would definitely recommend it. It tracks well, is stable and very fast compared to my 10' kayaks. My only regret is that I didn't purchase it at the beginning of the summer, but I am still looking forward to a fantastic fall of kayaking and fishing. You won't be disappointed!
