Can't get over the nose piece
I bought these directly from Oakley and their virtual try on is really nice. They don't allow reviews on their site (hmmmm) PROS: The lenses are super crisp and clear. They look really great on. CONS: The nose piece is HUGE. It blocks a good portion of the field of vision. Cannot recommend.

Functional & stylish sunglasses
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I bought these because I loved the look of the sunglasses and I generally love Oakleys. They are super light and really comfortable. I've been using these for running and kayaking. Not my favorite Oakleys, but still in regular rotation. There are a couple of things to keep in mind: 1. The wrap style helps block light from the sides; however, they don't fit closely (like say the eye jacket redux), which leaves a gap on top. I prefer to wear a hat/visor to block light from above when I wear these. 2. The nose piece is ridiculously large like the other reviewer said and it does block some vision around the nose. On the plus side, it really keeps the sunglasses comfortable and they don't slip even when sweaty. It honestly only bothers me for like the first minute or two and then my brain just ignores it. I also have some extra nose pieces from the Oakley Sutro S that I sometimes use with these and those nose pieces are a lot smaller. Probably a personal thing of how much this will bug you. 2. There is a line that outlines where a frame would be if the sunglasses had a frame. I have Sapphire Prizm lenses and I don't really notice it at all when looking through the lenses. Maybe lens color or fit affects how noticeable the outline is.

Worst purchase of my life
I purchased the pinkish version of these a couple months ago (they don't seem to be an option anymore) . I would have been better off buying a pair of $9 safety glasses from home depot. I don't know what the return policy is for glasses here but I'm kicking myself for not looking into it. Firstly, they have this line around the perimeter of the lens that catches your peripheral vision and causes this distracting distortion. Secondly, the rubber nose bridge is too bulky (even after cutting it down) it also distracts your eyes. Thirdly, I stuck them in my helmet with my gloves (which I do with all my other glasses) and something in there rubbed on them and they are now scratched after the second ride. I literally consider the lens to be just as good as a cheap pair of safety glasses except $244!!! Last pair of Oakleys. After 32 orders I don't even want to look at a backcountry email anymore.
