Sporting a more aggressive version of Never Summer's Rocker Camber profile and plenty of pop- and response-enhancing features, the West is designed to confidently take on every aspect of Colorado's legendary peaks.

Ripsaw Rocker Camber is similar to the original R.C. profile, but with enhanced camber zones that give it a poppier, more responsive feel and improved edge hold so you can conquer towering Western peaks. Extended transition zones at the main contact points offer a more forgiving feel and help the board plane in powder more easily, and the Vario Power Grip sidecut utilizes multiple radii to create additional contact points for reliable edge hold on the steepest, iciest slopes. A slightly set-back stance enhances power and control while also improving float in the deep stuff.

Sustainably-harvested poplar is fused with hardwood birch to create an incredibly lightweight yet durable core. Bi-Lite fiberglass gives it a smooth, even flex, while Carbon VXR laminates extend in Vs from the inserts to the edges for efficient energy transfer that improves response and loads up the board on ollies for insane pop. The RDS 2 damping system smooths out the ride when you're bombing through chop. Sintered P-Tex sidewalls maintain integrity at cold temperatures, meaning they won't crack when you land backseat on a frigid day. The Carbonium topsheet is chip-resistant and sheds snow, and it has a texture that is grippier than standard topsheets for better traction when you're pushing one-footed. It's finished off with an extremely durable, high-density Durasurf XT sintered 5501 base that has graphite added to make it as fast as possible. When you're ready to take your skills to bigger and better peaks, the West is ready to come along for the ride.
