Why We Like The Bridger 65L Backpack
The Bridger 65L Backpack features a traditional backpacking bag design but adds more places to stow our gear and a breathable, sturdy frame and support. Adjusting and fine-tuning the yoke year after year brought Mystery Ranch to this current version where it is now more supportive and ventilated than ever so we can avoid the dampness and discomfort of long days hiking to far-out locations. The Bridger also has a dual access main compartment so we can easily grab items without having to dig through the whole thing. We like that the removable lid doubles as a waist pack for fun side missions on lengthy multi-night excursions.

I love Mystery Ranch packs but this one is no good
Based on the reviews, it doesn't seem like this pack fits anyone well regardless of chest size, torso size or height. I am petite and the water bottle holders say almost above my breasts and under my armpits. It didn't fit my torso which is 15 inches or sit right on my waist. This is not recommended for anyone.

Very comfortable pack!
I took the pack for a spin on a weekend snow camping trip. I was definitely impressed with how comfortable it was to wear! Lots of padding around my hips and the pack fits my torso. I also enjoyed the easy access pouch in the front. The side straps were great to hold my water bottles in. The chest pouches weren't used much this time but I can see it being handy to put my bear spray in during warmer seasons. There are a few things I wish was different. One was that the bottom zippered area is too small. It would be better for me if it was wider so I can pull out my sleeping bag out easier. Second thing was the excess waist straps. I wish there was something to keep them from hanging down as there is a lot of extra strap. Although I really like how I pull forward to cinch. Finally I wish the straps on the bottom front were longer so I can strap on a sleeping mat or snowshoes to them. They're too short. All in all the fact that this pack is so comfortable, I can forgive these little wishes. I would recommend this pack!

Comfort and Durability made trekking a breeze
I purchased a small/extra small for my torso size and for hip comfort. I am 5'2", curvy in the hips, smaller chest area but get super sensitive to anything digging in my armpit area. I wanted a pack to last many trips, and have not backpacked up until now. Carried 40-45lbs over 6 days, and loved this pack, infact, the comfort is part of what inspires me to do more trekking, I am so happy I bought this backpack the first time I invested in a pack, well worth the money. I love all the zips and additional pockets on the shoulder straps (I used it for items I needed easy access to during the 6 hour days hiking, like hand sanitizer, 1/2 roll of toilet paper, or snacks, sunscreen, even my hat folded up to fit nicely. The pack was sturdy and buckles/clips/adjustment features worked well. I found places to compartmentalize everything inside so I always knew where things were for fast access. Additional sternum strap is GENIUS and provides comfortable support below the chest area and above. Back cushioning was great. I even used the top of the pack for a day trek, to hold two nalgenes lower on my hips to avoid holding weight on my shoulder, and threw on a cheap 10l daypack on my shoulders to carry raingear and a few snacks.

Love the design, doesn't fit a large chest.
I tried this pack on and no matter how hard I tried with a (female forest firefighter/backpacker) salesperson, we could not get this pack to fit my chest. I am a 36DD. That being said I ended up with a Glacier instead and it was fantastic on a 5 day trip.

The Best Bag
I'm absolutely in love with this bag. The adjustable frame and different sizing IN ADDITION TO the thoughtful design elements that make backpacking as a woman all the easier makes this my instant favorite. The chest strap avoids smashing my boobs, and the waist strap distributes the bulk of the pack's weight to my hips without being awkwardly fitted--so comfortable.

Excellent pack!
I am super picky with features and comfort, and this pack checked off all my boxes! It has the most cushioned waist belt I’ve seen, and the chest straps were perfectly positioned. I was between sizes and ultimately sized down which was the right decision. Already took it out and love it!

Comfortable and Convenient!
I just took this pack on a 3-day pack packing trip and it did not disappoint! This pack sits great on the hips, and the three sets of straps (waist, chest, and sternum) makes it very secure for a nice, comfortable hike. The pockets and front access were also convenient. If you’re debating whether this pack is worth the extra weight, it is.

Comfortable and well made
We bought both the men's and women's Bridger 65 packs. We have only had the opportunity to use them on a couple of short overnight trips. But so far we love them. They are comfortable, full of features and well constructed. Looking forward to using them on longer trips later this year.

Bridger 55 or 65 for thru hiking? I plan on thru hiking the PCT in the next 2 years and am wondering which size y’all would recommend? I just want to make sure that a bear canister will fit in whichever one I choose. Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

Hi there… Just wondering if it is possible to change out the harness straps to regular padded straps from the runners vest? It is extremely uncomfortable on a woman’s chest and shoulders when carrying a full load pack. The backpack itself is excellent.

In the video, it looks like the chest straps go right over the model's nipples and smoosh her boobs which looks super uncomfortable. I've only found mens' reviews of this product. Are there any additional videos of women reviewing/ testing this product?
