The telescoping handle lets you move large amounts of snow without undue strain to your back, and the flat back of the blade means you can cut excellent snow pits or blocks to build walls to protect your tent from blasts of wind. The Operator is available with either a T- or D-grip handle, so you'll be able to get the one that suits your needs.
