MSR Guardian breaks on first use -- MSR service does not respond.

MSR Guardian pump nut broke during first backpacking trap. Cascade Designs has not replied to service requests I made two months ago. I cannot find one online. The annual maintainance kit ford not include that part. I thus have a very expensive failed Guardian Purifier and cannot get the company to help at all.

Difficulty Replacing Pressure Relief Valve

I am having difficulty replacing the Pressure Relief Valve on the Guardian Water Purifier. The instructions state the Pressure Relief Valve should be turned 1/3 of a rotation and then carefully removed. However, after several attempts I am unable to remove the Pressure Relief Valve. Does MSR have any suggestions?
