disappointed
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Size Bought:
- XXL
- Height:
- 5' 10"
- Weight:
- 240
I am actually insulted with how bad this fit/felt. for the price I paid I will forever think differently of mountain hardware. The sleeves were WAY too large and way too long while the torso was skintight. You know, not everyone who buys a XXL is 6'5 132lbs. JUST SAYIN. Returning tomorrow morning.

Pretty good
On the one hand this seems pretty high quality, functional, and fits me well as a skinny guy. On the other I wish they would go back to offering more subtle or better yet no branding options.

PolarTec is my favorite, breathable and without a replacement for me!
Good undercoat for wet weather! This is like Patingoina.

Great Layer for Multiple Uses
The zip hoody is my first, but fits well, looks great and works great as a base layer or with a tshirt on a cool day. Mountain Hardwear makes a quality products and this is one more. FYI, it's a lot brighter of a blue than the images. But, that's okay.

Perfect layering component!
I'm very happy with this layer! I'm sold on the grid technology and will be worn or in my pack on every shoulder season trip in the future. Perfect fit.

Daily wear comfort that looks good.
Stretchy and warm, a great fitting jacket. I wear it daily. I'm 6'2", 220lbs with a muscular build and I wear an XL.

Love this thing.
Man, this thing is awesome. Perfect temperature range for what I was hoping for and a lot more comfortable than I was expecting. Recently had it on for the first leg of a 14 mile day hike and it reduced the amount of layer changing on the hike to zero. Little tight on the forearms, but not noticable if you're just wearing a base under it. Would wear it non stop if I wasn't a slob.

Good performance
Very warm for how light out is. I got this to replace bulkier fleece mid layers and it performed very well even in wet conditions.
