Nice jacket, stylish and durable material
The jacket is quite nice. Good material. Nice hood. My only gripes are that it’s a little bit short in the body (sleeves are a good length). And one of the snaps came off right away. I like that MH made a jacket like this.

Great design, but not a great cut for me

Excellent weight. Durable, not too heavy, not too thin, the hood is amazing. The hood really makes this jacket. The zipper pockets are great. Now for the downsides... I'm 6'3" 180 lbs. I got a large. The back isn't wide enough, the arms aren't long enough, the length is too short, the waist is too wide. I wish they would make a tall fit person version of this. This jacket is made for me potato head. Mountain hardware is supposed to be a fitness brand. 🤷🏼♀️ The front plastic zipper also seems to be a little too cheap. I really really like this jacket. It's perfect for what I do but it just won't fit. Kind of sad.

Great concept, needs some tweaks
I work as a river guide and spend a lot of time around fires. It is nice to have something that won't go up in flames with a little spark. Only problem is the fit of this is off in a few spots. The hood is just a little too small. Isn't big enough to go over a beanie easily. The neck collar is just a bit too high, the zipper hits me in the chin or folds over and hits me in the adams apple. I am 5'8" 160lbs and the coat seems a little on the small size for a medium. I also feel like the fill in the body and sleeves of the coat could be just a little bit thicker to match the sherpa lined hood. I am still new to the coat, and wanted it to be my new favorite, but it is just a little off. Time will tell if I hold onto it, or help it find a new owner.

Good jacket but pictures are misleading.
Good jacket but disappointing the label was on the chest and not on the pocket as shown in the pictures.

Perfect Casual Jacket
This has become my go-to casual day jacket. The liner throughout the jacket feels great and the sherpa fleece lined hoodie is super comfortable. I where this one around town when I don't want to wear a technical or down jacket to run errands or out with the fam. It's got great weight to it, not too heavy, and is a wonderful addition to my collection of Mountain Hardwear jackets.

Awesome casual or work jacket
An awesome casual or work jacket-ideal for around town or working/chores outside in cool to cold conditions. The hood is a nice addition to pull on over a baseball-style hat or if a breeze or light precip kicks up. The neck area closure is similar to an alpine shell, so when you zip it up fully it protects your neck and face with soft and warm fleece. The fit is perfect (I’m 5’6”, 145 lb, and bought a small). There’s a little room for a vest or light layer or two underneath. The fabric seems durable.

Jackson Ridge
Jacket seems very well made and fits me as an xl should. Haven’t used it much but plan to this fall and winter.
