Black Ice Down Jacket - Men's

Designed for rugged mountaineering days, the Montane Men's Black Ice Down Jacket is perfect for cold days and nights on the move or resting. It utilizes a blend of water-resistant down and synthetic insulation to combine the warmth and packability of down with the fast drying and warm-when-wet properties of synthetic fill. A classic box baffle construction throughout the main body keeps insulation in place for consistent, reliable warmth, while the stitch-through construction on the sleeves reduce bulk and improve freedom of movement.

Montane equipped the Black Ice jacket with various features to help augment your on-mountain experience. An adjustable, helmet-compatible hood provides extra protection from the elements, and the visor has been stiffened with a foam insert and wire to withstand wind. An internal elastic loop and hook allows the hood to be rolled down and stowed away in good conditions. The two-way front zipper is designed for use with a backpack or climbing harness. An internal waist drawcord adjustment for a warmer, more personalized fit, while the adjustable hem helps seal out cold and snow. the Black Ice also features an internal water bottle pocket to keep beverages in a liquid state when the temperature drops.
